This site shares general information about hotel sales, hotel ownership and the US hotel market. Nothing on it is an offer to sell or buy any property, a listing, an appraisal, a valuation, or investment, tax, legal or accounting advice.

Using the site doesn't create a brokerage relationship. Representation begins only with a signed agreement.

Numbers in the newsletter and in our guides come from public industry sources — hotel performance and transaction reporting, industry associations, and government data — or are our own estimates. Where a figure is ours rather than reported, we say so. Sources are named and linked so you can check them.

Market data is revised by the publishers who issue it, and periods reported can lag the current month. Verify any figure against the source before you rely on it in a decision.
